Original Emil is one of Rubens Barn’s very first handmade dolls. The doll’s body is big and soft. This soft doll from Rubens Barn Original collection was traditionally designed to be suitable for doll therapy for children with special needs.
This handmade, soft doll is Rubens Barn's heavyweight expert in cuddles - for anyone who is a child at heart! Rubens Originals are perfect for doll therapy thanks to their large, warm, and comforting hugs for people of all ages.
The original dolls' size, softness, and weight give the feeling of a real child. Studies have shown that the dolls have a calming effect on, among others, the elderly with Dementia and Alzheimer's.
The dolls are 50 cm tall and weigh 1,000 g. Original dolls are made from 100% polyester fleece and are filled with 100% recycled polyester. The dolls are suitable for washing at 60 degrees, to fit within care environments.
